Our upstream provider is experiencing some issues which are affecting email service to clients. This will affect those clients who are clearing POP accounts and those who have routed (domain forwarding). It does not affect those clients who run their own mail server. We are unable to obtain an estimated time for when this willbe resolved, but as our upstream provider have a massive national client base we can all be assured that this is a top priority for them. We will update this message when we have more information to hand.
UPDATE 23/02/10 10:18 AM
Email services have been restored in a temporary capacity while work continues to resolve the core issues. There may be further disruption later today however as the main mail server is resurected. We apologise for any inconvenience that this causes.
UPDATE 23/02/10 2:02 PM
Email services are undergoing maintenance as the ongoing issues are resolved. Intermittant problems are to be expected over the next hour.
UPDATE 24/02/10 8:30 AM
The following is the official message from our upstream provider;
Full service has been restored, but if you are still experiencing problems accessing your email, restarting your computer should resolve this.
However as the fix was an emergency fix there will be the need to schedule a few short outages over the next few days to clean everything up.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
8 July 09 - Phew! We have brought all out telecommunication services back to TelstraClear. We should never have left them as a provider, however we have learned a valuable lesson and hopefully for all our clients we can now say that our communication nightmares are over (touch wood!). Ironically the TelstraClear slogan of "Now's Good" should have been ringing in our own ears as we went through the worst customer service experience known to any business with one of their opposition.
TelstraClear have always been great, especially when it comes to service, and our experiment with changing providers has shown that such decisions should never be taken lightly. If you're thinking about changing your telecommunications provider, make sure it only goes in one direction - to TelstraClear.
8 June 09 - Cohesion has relocated to 234A Waihi Road, Tauranga as we consolidate our space requirements. We are now co-located with the agency Ignoto Design which adds design strength as we focus on our core online and internet abilities.
Our new telecommunications provider has been unable to keep up with the move, and has again let us down by dropping our phone numbers, so please bear with us as we get this one sorted - I can personally assure you that this is frustrating us way more than anyone else. My hair is greyer than two weeks ago :)
UPDATE: 11 June 09 - Our phone service has been restored, however my faith in the provider has not been so let's just see how long it lasts....
Until this is resolved, please email your queries or call 029-927 1301. Thank you.
Search Engine Optimisation and Google AdWords are two tools your website could and should be using to increase traffic to your website and boost your chances of generating new business.
Both of these activities require regular attention - Search Engines change continuously so your site needs scheduled optimising at intervals to ensure that it meets the most current criteria for rankings. Likewise Google AdWords needs to be monitored to ensure that budgets are being used appropriately, maximising the effectiveness of this proven marketing tool.
If you'd like to talk to someone about kick-starting either or both of these tools for your website, contact us today!
We hear business is slowing, and it seems people are tightening their marketing budgets just when they should be doing the opposite. So, we've decided to make it easier by offering your business the chance to win $5000 in branding, design or website development services.
For every $500 that your business commits to before 31 March 2009, you'll get one entry in the draw to win. Now's the time to the edge over your competitors so get those projects underway and maximise the opportunities to grow your business.
It's a new year and we all want it to get off to a flying start. Which is why we've decided to reward any client that refers another to us with a big chunk of Gel Points that can be redeemed on in-house services. Offer ends 30 April 2009
Don't forget "Gel", our client extranet. You're able to view domain, email, hosting and access details through the extranet in a secure environment, and keep your company details up to date. Coming Soon: We'll be adding functions so that you can check job progress and provide online feedback.
Don't forget to check your reporting regularly. Try for at least once a month. If there's any problem with your reporting, or if your website isn't working for you the way you want it to, your reporting can show you why and we can help you do something about it.
Note: Some clients who have changed to Google Analytics for Reporting may not be able to view their reporting through Gel. This will change soon when the new client extranet goes live. If you do not have a username and password provided, this facility isn't available to you at this time. Please discuss this with your account contact.
Gee, talk about "mechanic's car" syndrome. We've been so busy working on everyone else's website that ours has literally taken a back seat. Finally, however, it's here so browse through and enjoy. Next we'll be rolling it out into Gel and bringing in the improvements mentioned above.
